The Vice President of US Sales is responsible for driving growth of the business with focus on patient outcomes and key opinion leader (KOL) physician relationships, while managing all field resources in the U.S. sales and clinical organization for Abiomed. Reporting directly to the Vice-President and General Manager of Global Sales, the role requires strong leadership and the ability to motivate teams for one of the fastest growing companies in cardiology. Metrics for success include increase in patient access to the technology, sales effectiveness & goal attainment for the United States.. Job Responsibilities:. Visible leadership with passion and Patients First mentality. Accountable for achieving national targets in patients treated and revenue. Drive Field Team Effectiveness for both Regional Sales Directors and their Regional teams and Clinicals by 1:1 field travel and coaching. Responsible for the hiring and development of the Regional leadership teams. Monitor sales activity, plan and prepare forecasts for the US business. Monitor and manage clinical outcomes for the region. Job Requirements:. 15+ years of experience in the medical device cardiovascular space. 15+ years of management experience of a field commercial team, preferably in a National or Global role. Strong relationships with National KOLs in Interventional Cardiology. Proven track record of managing successful commercial organizations. Highly proficient in Salesforce.Com & Microsoft Office Suite.. Willingness to travel 50- 75%, while based in Danvers, Massachusetts area.
