Financial Analyst The Financial Analyst is the key day-to-day finance support to our field operators including Regional and Area Directors, Marketing, Supply Chain, and others. This is a challenging and rewarding role which requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. This person is responsible for reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and communicating financial results to business teams across the organization. This position is highly visible in the organization and is depended upon to support our Shacks financial planning. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning Review historical results to develop sensible basis upon which to forecast. Assist in the annual planning cycle including Business Plan, Annual Targets, and Performance Management Reports Work with FP&A Team to budget and forecast from company-wide data 2. Financial Analysis Prepare flexible financial models with clean outputs. Analyze actual financial results and explain variances from budget and prepare monthly reports and forecast estimates Dissect KPI results and communicate to business partners 3. Internal Management Reporting Develop reports that help our business counterparts measure performance and allow management to quickly glean insights. Manage and aid performance management using reports. 4. Communication Cross department collaboration, ensuring timely, confident and professional demeanor always. Maintain an empathetic perspective and positive relationship with business partners.
